About the Cadmium Art Collective

The Cadmium Art Collective is a community of Edmonton-area artists working together to make art and art collecting in Alberta more personal, accessible, and connected. What began as a few artists meeting over coffee to share ideas has evolved into a vibrant collective of painters, printmakers, fiber artists, and mixed-media creators united by a shared passion for creativity, collaboration, and community.

We believe creativity thrives in connection.  Within Cadmium, artists exchange ideas, offer feedback, and support one another through every stage of their creative process. Together, we organize local art markets, pop-up shows, and community exhibitions that connect collectors directly with Edmonton and Alberta artists. Each event transforms the art-buying experience into something personal and meaningful — a chance to meet the makers and discover the stories behind each work of art.
