Date: February 3 - March 27, 2026
Location: 25 Sir Winston Churchill Ave, St. Albert, AB
About the event: YELLOW is a contemporary group exhibition presented at VASA Art in St. Albert, bringing together artists working across painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Using yellow as both a visual and conceptual anchor, the exhibition explores how colour can signal emotion, attention, warmth, tension, and instability — often all at once.
The exhibition includes work by Heidi Carroll, whose quiet, observational painting practice focuses on balance, restraint, and subtle shifts in form and light. Within the broader conversation of YELLOW, Carroll’s work offers a measured counterpoint — inviting slower looking and reflection amid bolder chromatic expressions.
Hosted at VASA Art in the Corridor Gallery, a space known for supporting thoughtful, contemporary practices, YELLOW invites viewers to consider colour not as decoration, but as experience. The exhibition offers a layered viewing encounter, rewarding time, attention, and repeated visits.
